Established in 1999 in the rural heartland of Ferozepur district, Jogindra Convent School emerged from a noble vision — to bring quality education to the children of border and educationally backward areas of Punjab. The foundation stone, laid in 1997 during the nation’s historic celebration of 50 years of Independence, marked the beginning of an institution built in the cherished memory of Sardar Joginder Singh Dhaliwal (1939–1987), Ex-Sarpanch and Numberdar of Village Badhni Gulab, a man remembered for his honesty, leadership, and selfless service to society.
The school’s journey from modest beginnings to a recognised centre of learning reflects its unwavering commitment to excellence. Jogindra Convent School received provisional affiliation from CISCE, New Delhi in 2014 for ICSE (Grade X), was upgraded to ISC (Grade XII) in 2018, and achieved permanent affiliation in 2019.
Today, the school continues to uphold its founding purpose — to empower rural youth with high-quality education, enriched values, practical common sense, and opportunities equal to their urban counterparts. With a strong focus on holistic development, student well-being, and joyful learning, Jogindra Convent School stands as a beacon of hope, discipline, and transformation for the community it serves.
